According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, during January-August 2018 Russia exported more some 8.8 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, up 8.4% year-on-year.
In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export grew 15.3% up to $1.7 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 7.6 mn tons, which is 8.4% above the result for January-August 2017. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export grew by 19,9% up to $2.2 bn dollars.
At the same time, potash fertilizers export dropped 23.9% down to over 5.1 mn tons in terms of tonnage. In terms of value, it decreased by 12.1% down to $1.1 bn.
