Alexey Semenov has been appointed vice minister of transport of Russia.
A decree to this effect was signed by Premier Dmitry Medvedev on October 3.
Prior to this appointment he was director of the development programs department of the transport ministry.
In this position he was responsible for innovation, high-tech and scientific activities of the ministry, new technologies implementation and technical infrastructure development.
