TransContainer has appointed Dmitry Melnichuk, Head of the company’s October Railway branch, Managing Director of Logistika-Terminal, the inland terminal it recently acquired from Global Ports.
D.Melnichuk took over as of September 4. He will also continue in his current position as Head of the October Railway branch of TransContainer.
According to Vyacheslav Seraev, CEO of TransContainer, the acquisition of Logistika-Terminal is an important part of the company’s strategy.
TransContainer expects to significantly increase the number of containers handled at the newly acquired terminal and improve the company’s efficiency on the whole using the synergies and optimizing operations, he said.
