First Train of Regular Container Service Between Vladivostok and Saint Petersburg Has Gone Through Customs Clearance

  • Saint Petersburg Customs carried out customs clearance of the first regular container train travelled via transcontinental route Vladivostok-Saint Petersburg.

    According to North-Western Customs Department the train consisting of 64 large-capacity containers came from the port of Vladivostok to the Shushary station.

    The high-speed train delivered autocomponents for Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus, plant of Hyundai Motor Company located near Saint Petersburg.

    Customs clearance was completed for short time. All customs procedures took less than eight hours due to a technology whish aim is to optimize the process.
