According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, during January-May 2018 Russia exported more than 5.6 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, up 12.1% year-on-year.
In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export grew 18.3% up to $1.1 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 5.1 mn tons, which is 16.1% above the result for January-May 2017. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export surged 27.9% up to $1.4 bn dollars.
At the same time, potash fertilizers export declined 15.3% down to 2.9 mn tons in terms of tonnage. In terms of value, it decreased less significantly by 5.5% down to $605.4 mn.
