During January-April, Russia exported slightly over 1 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, down 6.7% year-on-year.
In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export increased by 6% up to some $2 bn, according to the RF Federal Customs Service.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export increased 20.4% up to 223.9 thousand tons. In terms of value, the growth was even more significant, up 46.6% to $1.5 bn.
Unwrought nickel export during the first three months of 2018 dropped 7.1% down to 44.6 thousand tons in physical terms while growing 29.4% up to $597.8 mn in terms of value.
