During January-March, Russia exported 931.9 thousand tons of unwrought aluminum, up 8.4% year-on-year.
In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export surged 26.8% up to $1.8 bn, according to the RF Federal Customs Service.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export increased 18.9% to 175.9 thousand tons. In terms of value, the growth was even more significant, up 44.2% to $1.2 bn.
Unwrought nickel export during the first three months of 2018 dropped 11.1% to 33.7 thousand tons in physical terms while growing 20.4% up to $444.2 mn in terms of value.
