VSC Launches Train Service to Uzbekistan

  • Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company and Interrail-Service have launched a joint train service from the VSC terminal in the port of Vostochny to the Chukursai rail station in Uzbekistan.

    The test run started on March 29 as a train carrying sixty 40’ containers that arrived at VSC from South-East Asia left Nakhodka-Vostochnaya rail station. It came to Chukursai on April 7.

    April 9 the train started back with seventy-six 40’ containers with yarn and polyethylene designated for South-Eats Asia arriving at VSC on April 20.

    The nest train from VSC is scheduled in May.

    The service will run monthly on regular a basis.
