During January-February 2018, Russia exported 9.5 thousand cars, up 4.4% year-on-year.
In February, car export increased 18.6% up to 5.1 thousand units.
Truck export in January-February dropped 20% down to 1.6 thousand units.
In terms of value, according to the RF Federal Customs Service, car export was flat at $133.5 mn, while truck export declined 44.5% to $30.6 mn.
Car import into Russia surged 46.3% year-on-year up to 34.6 thousand units.
Truck import was down 3.8% to 2.3 thousand units.
In terms of value, car import was 19.2% to $824.9 mn, and truck import up 21.9% to $287.9 mn.
