According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in 2017 Russia imported 643.1 thousand tons of fresh and frozen meat, a 2.7% plus year-on-year.
Fresh and frozen poultry import increased 1.7% to 227.4 thousand tons. Fish import was up 19.7% to 428.8 thousand tons.
Meat products and canned meat import dropped 12.5% to 17.7 thousand tons.
Milk and condensed cream import grew 4% up to 239.3 thousand tons. Butter import declined 3.2% down to 98.8 thousand tons.
Vegetable oil surged 4.5-fold and made 25.7 thousand tons.
Citrus fruit import increased 2.5% year-on-year to some 1.6 mn tons.
Raw sugar import dropped 94.4% down to 14.4 thousand tons. White sugar import also declined, but slightly, 8.7% down to 246.3 thousand tons.
Coffee import was up 10.6% to 189.6 thousand tons and tea import up 2.7% to 168.8 thousand tons.
