  • On week 31 the Azov freight market shows stable growing trends. According to the brpkerage firm Rufko, with each new day the quantity of cargo order is rising and this heats the freight rates.

    Turkey and Lebanon remain the main destinations for Russian agro products export.

    Wheat parcels from Rostov to Marmara can be shipped now at $21-23 pmt. Ship owners mainly prefer short destination voyages.

    Caspian region starts revealing. There is high trade activity from river ports. But, some charterers are still trying to enter the market with comparatively low freight ideas.

    Current freight from Astrakhan to North Iranian ports are $21-23 pmt.
