Federal Subsidy for Sukhodol Port Project

  • The RF Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic has distributed the federal subsidy for 8.56 billion rubles ($94.1 million) for infrastructure projects in the Russian Far East.

One of the recipients is Gazprom Helium Service, which is developing a LNG plant that at the initial stage will produce 1.5 ton of liquefied natural gas per hour.

Another subsidy recipient is Sea Port of Sukhodol, a resident of the Free port of Vladivostok, which is building a specialized coal port in the region.

The annual capacity of Sakhodol is to make up to 20 million tons. The new facility is to be put into operation in September this year.
