The Board of Novoship has elected Alexey Khaidukov President of the company. He will replace Yury Tsvetkov, who has recently been appointed Vice Minister, Head of the RF Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot).
A.Khaidukov has been with Novoship since he graduated from the Admiral Makarov Maritime Academy in 1992. He served as an officer on board the company’s vessels for 12 years, including 5 years as a master, then moving to shore-based positions in 2004.
In 2004-2006 he was navigation safety and environment inspector with Novoship (UK), later was director of the quality department (in 2006-2010) and director of navigation safety and quality department (in 2010-2012).
In 2012-2013 A.Khaidukov held the position of Vice President, Fleet Management Director, and in 2013 was appointed Managing Director of SCF Novoship Technical Management, the company responsible for the technical management of fleet, later rebranded as SCF Management Services (Novorossiysk). He will continue in this latter position in addition to his functions as President of Novoship.
