Deputy Transport Minister Resigns

  • Viktor Olersky, RF deputy transport minister responsible for shipping and ports, is leaving, SeaNews has learnt.

    He submitted a letter of resignation soon after the new government was formed.

    He is expected to get back into the transport business.

    V.Olersky was appointed deputy minister of transport in 2009, in 2016 he was also appointed head of the RF Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport.

    Before joining the Ministry of transport, V.Olersky was Chairman of the North-Western Shipping Co board.
