Universal Handling Company (UPK) in Ust-Luga has put into operation a new manipulator with a 5 cbm grapple, the terminal said in a statement.
The new equipment is equipped with a dust-suppression system, safety control devices, LED lighting and video cameras that provide the operator with nearly 360-degree visibility, thus maintaining safe operations.
Adding the new unit to the company’s fleet is aimed at improving operational performance at the terminal while complying with safety requirements and environmental standards, UPK said.
