Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex in the Russian Far East has delivered the tanker “Vostochny Prospect”. It is the fifth large-tonnage tanker delivered by the yard to the customer.
The current portfolio of Zvezda includes 12 tankers of this type including 10 vessels ordered by Rosnefteflot. Four Aframax tankers are already deployed.
The “Vostochny Prospect” has successfully passed sea trials to test the operations of the main and auxiliary engines and the navigation system.
The ceremony to name the “Vostochny Prospect” was held on November 17, 2023. The 250 m LOA, 44 m beam and 112,600 dwt vessel complies with the most stringent eco standards and has an ice notation of 1A/1B.
