Perm Shipyard has presented a preliminary design of Vishera container vessel, the company said in its social media account. As new shipping routes are emerging in the context of the North-South international transport corridor development, container vessels are needed.
The Vishera design demonstrated by Perm Shipyard belongs to the Volga-Don Max class and has the following characteristics:
- LOA: 141 m;
- ширина – 16,9 м;
- draft: 3.6 at sea / 5.2 in the river;
- capacity: 510 TEU;
- speed at a draft of 4.5 m: 10.2 knots;
- cargo holds capacity: 11,500 cubic meters;
- maximum deadweight: 9,000 tons.
