FESCO Launches Vladivostok – Bangladesh Service

  • FESCO Transport Group has launched a new container service between Vladivostok in the Russian Far East and the port of Chattogram (Chittagong) in Bangladesh with transshipment via Shanghai.

    The transit time is 28 days. The service frequency is weekly. The planned monthly container traffic is some 200 TEU. In Vladivostok, the service calls at Commercial Port of Vladivostok, part of FESCO Group.

    Imports from Bangladesh will be mostly clothes, fabrics, textiles, etc., while exports from Vladivostok will include sawn goods and woodwork, and chemical products.

    The first vessels with FESCO containers on board called at Chattogram on October 30, FESCO said in a statement.
