RZD Logistics has expanded the geographic scope of its Agroexpress service organizing delivery of marble beef [rpduced by a major Russian agricultural holding to China.
The meat is carried in autonomously powered reefer containers from the railway station of Chekhov in Moscow region to Qingdao in China transiting Kazakhstan.
The new route will be operated on a regular basis in in future will be used to transport other food products, RZD Logistics said in a statement.
According to he company, the main advantage the new service offers is the transit time, which makes 14-16 days on the average.
