The Government of the Russian Federation allowed to deploy foreign-flagged vessels to transport coal mined at the Severnaya Zvezda (Northern Star) Project.
The vessels will be allowed to load coal in the port of Dikson and carry it to the first port of discharge or transshipment till December 31, 2024.
A governmental order to this effect was signed by RF Premier Mikhail Mishustin on September 15, 2023.
The list of the foreign-flagged vessels permitted to carry coal from the Severnaya Zvezda Project includes 23 ships.
