Russia’s RZD Logistics and China’s Sino-Worlink International Supply Chain Management have signed a strategic partnership agreement, RZD Logistics said in a statement.
The partnership is expected to help expand the two companies’ geographic scope of activities and attracting new customers to their car shipping and heavylift services.
The parties agreed to cooperate and coordinate their efforts in heavylift logistics services between Russia and China as well as in cargo consolidation and transportation, freight forwarding, and customs services.
‘China is becoming the most important trade partner of Russia with the volume of freight traffic growing and the scope of commodities expanding,’ Dmitry Murev, MD of RZD Logistics, noted.
