RTSB-RUS has delivered an airplane staircase from China to Tomsk airport in Russia. The high and heavy equipment was carried all the way from Shenzhen by road.
The largest item measured 19.9 meters long, 3.7 meters wide and almost 4 meter high. On August 24 the gangway was loaded in Shenzhen and carried to the Zabaikalsk border crossing point on the Russia-China border. There, it was transferred onto Russian vehicles and transported to the destination, where it was unloaded on September 14.
The trailer-to-trailer transfer was carried out using two cranes due to the size of the cargo. Ten vehicles were deployed in the project, two trucks and five trailers in China and two trucks and three trailers in Russia.
