Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port Put New Container Depot into Operation

  • Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port has completed the construction of a depot to store containers at Berth 49. According to the port, the territory covered exceeds 18,000 square meters.

    The depot adjourns the port railway line which allows of loading containers on both railway platforms and trucks. The depot capacity is 2,367 TEU.

    The new depot was built in the framework of the port infrastructure development investment programme. expected to increased the port’s container handling capacity by 263,332 TEU annually up to 597,760 TEU in 2024.

    The CAPEX is estimated to exceed 8 bn rubles ($82.1 mn).
