ASPO Delivers Chemical Tanker “Sergey Lvov”

  • ASPO Shipyard, part of United Shipbuilding Corporation’s Southern Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Center, has delivered the Design 00216M chemical tanker “Sergey Lvov” to the customer, the USC press office said in a statement.

    The vessel is named after Sergey Lvov, a public figure, historian and international relations expert well-known in Astrakhan.

    The tanker will be used to transport crude oil, oil products and hazardous liquid cargo including commodities that require heating. Three commodity types can be shipped simultaneously.

    Vessel particulars:

    • LOA: 141 m;
    • Beam: 16.7 m;
    • Height: 6 m;
    • Deadweight in river: about 5,350 tons;
    • Deadweight at sea: about 7,900 tons;
    • Endurance: 15 days;
    • Speed: about 10 knots;
    • Crew: 12 people.
