FESCO Presents FESCO Fast Forward Project in Shanghai

  • FESCO Transport Group is re-starting its FESCO Fast Forward project aimed at reducing transit time for container transportation from China to Russia via the Russian Far East.

The presentation for Chinese customers was held on June 14 in Shanghai, the Group said in a statement.

The official start of the project is scheduled for July 1. Initially, the project will cover two routes, Shanghai – Moscow in 20 days and Yantian – Moscow in 23 days.

The reduction in transit time is achieved by improving efficiency in every link in the intermodal chain, using FESCO’s own assets at all stages of transportation, and improving cooperation between different transport modes in the Vladivostok transport hub perimeter, FESCO explained.
