A new logistics terminal to handled and store containers, general cargo and machines is to be built near Blagoveschensk in the Russian Far East.
An agreement on the subject was signed between Eurasia Logistics and Far East and Arctic Development Corporation during the AmurExpo 2023 Russia-China Economic Forum, the press office of the RF Ministry for the development of the Russian Far East and Arctic has reported.
The investor intends to spend some 130 mn rubles ($1.6 mn) on the project. The terminal capacity is planned to make up to 150 thousand tons of cargo per annum.
The new logistics center is aimed for accelerate the growing trade with Asian countries by offering facilities to handle and store self-propelled equipment, containerized cargo, machines and production lines.
The terminal will include a heated warehouse for 2,000 sqm and a cold storage facility for another 2,000 sqm.
