PSA International and Kazakh Railways Kazakstan Temir Zholy have agreed to establish a joint venture. The agreement was signed at the Kazakhstan-Singapore business forum in Astana.
The new company will rely on PSA’s expertise and technology to expand the geographic scope of services and integrate the transport corridors traversing Kazakhstan into the global network linking the world’s largest transport hubs.
The main vector in the activities of the JV will be developing the TransCaspian international transport corridor. Joining the partners’ experience and resources is expected to help develop an efficient seamless logistics chain lining countries and continents. It will also help Kazakhstan Temir Zholy to expand into new markets as a leading global player.
