The customs offices of Russia and Iran have concluded an agreement on mutual recognition of authorized economic operators. The document was signed in Tehran by acting Director if the RF Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov and Director of the Customs Administration of Iran Mohammad Rezvani-Far.
According to the RF Federal Customs Service, the agreement suggests facilitating direct for Russian and Iranian companies with a status of Authorized Economic Operators when making direct deliveries.
Thus, they are entitled to priority customs procedures on the territory of Russia and Iran, selective control procedures, automatic customs clearance for no risk goods.
The parties intend to exchange delegations that will visit Moscow and Tehran.
