Eurosib SPb Transport Systems and ETG Capital have concluded an agreement on cooperating in organizing and handling block rains at the new Eurotrans Gateway terminal in Alma-Ata area, Kazakhstan.
The parties also intend to discuss future plans to jointly develop the second stage of the terminal in 2023-2024.
The current terminal capacity is 159,000 TEU per annum, it allows of unloading containers from the narrow-gauge rolling stock from China onto the Russian standard gauge and vice versa.
Eurosib launched its first block train from the terminal in February this year. In future, the company plans to increase the service frequency to make it daily.
