Draft Roadmaps for Transport and Logistics Corridors Developed

  • Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Premier of the Russian Federation, has chaired a meeting of the Headquarters for transport and logistics corridors. The participants approved of the draft road maps for developing three major transport corridors, North – South, Azov and Black Sea, and Eastern corridors.

    The draft road maps include cargo base forecasts, section and infrastructure breakdown of corridors with capacity indication, as well as measures to expand infrastructure bottlenecks, RF Transport Minister Vitaly Saveliev said.

    Belousov commissioned the parties involved to improve the draft road maps on the basis of the opinions and suggestions voiced during the meeting synchronizing all the measures and parameters with the federal programme for transport system development.
