Grain Terminal to Be Developed in Vladivostok

  • A grain terminal is to be developed in the port of Vladivostok in the Russian Far East utilizing the combined facilities of FEMSTA and Gaidamak Port, the press office of the RF Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic reports quoting Andrey Butyrin, MD of FESCO Gaidamak Terminal.

    In addition to the existing general cargo facilities, state of the art grain handling facilities using elevator technology will be developed on the territory of the combined terminal of FEMSTA and Gaidamak Port. The annual capacity is expected to exceed 400 thousand tons.

    At present, the terminal is undergoing modernization, which is to be completed in 2024.
