Ruscon Launches Russia – India Service

  • In July 2022, Ruscon, part of the Delo Group, launched its own regular multimodal container service between India and Russia.

Ruscon provides turnkey forwarding from any origin in Russia consolidating shipments in Novorossiysk at the NUTEP terminal and Ruscon’s own port terminal for loading on board a vessel routed from Novorossiysk to Istanbul at then to Nhava Sheva.

Customs clearance, terminal handling and storage services are available, both customers’ containers or Ruscon-operated containers can be used. Hazardous cargo is accepted for delivery.

The service frequency at the initial stage is monthly with a transit time of 22 days. The first departure of a 1,700 TEU vessel from Nava Sheva is scheduled for August 10, the return voyage from Novorossiysk is planned for September 2.

“The use of routes alternative to the international transport corridor West-East in today’s conditions seems to be very promising. Indian ports, as a base for the further transfer of Russian import, export, or transit cargo, are beginning to play an increasingly important role in the situation of restructuring global supply chains,” Sergey Beryozkin, President of Ruscon, commented.
