Dessert Fantasy, a sweet dessert producer, has concluded a contract with ILR Construction to design and build a 7,000 sq m cold store in St. Petersburg.
According to Knight Frank Russia, which accompanied the deal as a consultant, at present there is some 718,000 sq m of cold storage facilities in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast accounting for 17% of the overall quality storage space, and Dessert Fantasy’s is going to be the largest coal storage facility in the region.
Dessert Fantasy has been making cakes and desserts since 2015. In 2017, the company launched a new state of the art production facility. It already has an own cold store in the city center.
The new facility is necessary to expand production. First, a large storage facility for ingredients and final products will be put into operation. After that, a new production facility is to be launched.
The new complex will also incorporate office premises.
