In January 2022 fresh and frozen meat import was down 3.9% year-on-year and down 15.8% month-on-month to 17.1 thousand tons. Fresh and frozen poultry import increased by 14% year-on-year and declined by 37.6% month-on-month to 13.8 thousand tons.
According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, fish import decreased by 13.2%% year-on-year and by 33.9% month-on-month to 33.4 thousand tons. Canned meat and meat specialties import was down 7.1% year-on-year and down 40.9% month-on-month making 1.3 thousand tons.
Milk and condensed cream import declined by 9% year-on-year and by 24.3% month-on-month down to 8.1 thousand tons. Butter import decreased by 22.3% year-on-year and by 27.9% month-on-month making 8 thousand tons. Cheese import was down 34.7% year-on-year and down 33.8% month-on-month to 19.2 thousand tons.
Palm oil import was down 30.2% year-on-year and down 35.9 month-on-month to 64.8 thousand tons.
Citrus fruit import was down 6.3% year-on-year and down 46% month-on-month to 201.6 thousand tons. Banana import grew by 7% year-on-year and by 6.9% month-on-month to 123 thousand tons, and apple import declined by 17.1% year-on-year and by 14.1% month-on-month down to 59.7 thousand tons.
Raw sugar import surged 5-fold year-on year and by 66.7% month-on-month to make 1.5 thousand tons, white sugar import declined by 19.3% year-on-year and by 14.8% month-on-month down to 4.6 thousand tons.
Coffee import in January 2022increased by 3.5% year-on-year and by 23.1% month-on-month to make 20.8 thousand tons. Tea import was up 19% year-on-year and down 4.8% month-on-month to 10 thousand tons.
