According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in 2021 Russia’s export of vodka made 2.44 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, up 63% year-on-year, physically, and $166.7 mn, up 12.1%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during 2021 grew by 18.8% year-on-year to exceed $3.4 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in 2021 surged by 64.9% up to $93.8 mn.
In December 2021, Russia exported 295.4 thousand decalitres of vodka, up 1.4% year-on-year and up 4.2% month-on-month, worth $19.8 mn, down 2.5% year-on-year and up 3.7% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in December 2021 was down 2.3% year-on-year and down 15.4% month-on-month to $320.9 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in December 2021 was up 27% year-on-year and up 11.9% month-on-month to $9.4 mn.
