According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, during January-November 2021 Russia exported 39.5 mn tons of ferrous metals, up 11.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, ferrous metals export grew by 85.1% up to $26.1 bn.
Intermediate iron and unalloyed steel products export was up 16.5% year-on-year to 13.6 mn tons. In terms of value, it increased by 85.1% up to more than $8.2 bn.
Iron and unalloyed steel flat section export in January-November 2021 grew by 14.2% year-on-year up to more than 7.9 mn tons worth $6.8 bn, up 2.1-fold.
Cast iron export during the 10 months 2021 increased by 8.5% year-on-year up to 3.6 mn tons worth $1.8 bn, up 77.5%.
Ferroalloys export in January-November 2021 grew by 21.2% year-on-year up to 820.6 thousand tons worth $1.3 mn, up 61.4%.
According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, in November 2021 ferrous metals export was down 3.6% year-on-year and down 23% month-on-month to 2.3 mn tons. In terms of value, it grew by 63.6% year-on-year and declined by 23.5% month-on-month to make $1.8 bn.
Intermediate iron and unalloyed steel products export in November 2021 was down 28.4% year-on-year and down 24.5% month-on-month making 506.7 thousand tons. In terms of value, it increased by 24.8% year-on-year and decreased by 23.4% month-on-month to $356.2 mn.
Iron and unalloyed steel flat section export in November 2021 was up 6.1% year-on-year and down 30.5% month-on-month making 603.1 thousand tons worth $558.5 mn, up 289.7% year-on-year and DOWN 32.1% month-on-month.
Cast iron export in November 2021 made 342.6 thousand tons, up 3.3-fold year-on-year and up 31.4% month-on-month. In terms of value, it amounted to $190.1 mn, up 5.8-fold year-on-year and up 20.6% month-on-month.
Ferroalloy export in November 2021 was down 12.7% year-on-year and down 31.9% month-on-month to 54.2 thousand tons. In terms of value, it declined by 45.7% year-on-year and by 28.9% month-on-month to make $111.2 mn.
