According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-October 2021 Russia exported 3.3 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, up 56.3% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export surged by 97.8% year-on-year up to $6.7 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export declined by 19.5% year-on-year making 438.5 thousand tons worth $3.6 bn, up 17.9% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-October 2021 decreased by 52.5% year-on-year amounting to 45 thousand tons worth $788.3 mn, down 35.5% year-on-year.
In October, unwrought aluminum export made 137.5 thousand tons, down 31.7 year-on-year and down 48.3% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export which is almost the same as in October last year and declined by 45% month-on-month to make $312.1 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was down 95.1% year-on-year and down 26.1% month-on-month to 1.7 thousand tons worth $9.9 mn, down 95.4% year-on-year and down 34.4% month-on-month.
Unwrought nickel export was non-existent in October.
