NUTEP in Novorossiysk, part of Delo Group’s stevedoring asset DeloPorts, handled four container vessels at a time for the first time in its history.
The operation was carried out on December 7, two of the four vessels were berthed at the deep water Berth 38 that was built and put into operation in 2019 in the framework of DeloPorts’ investment programme aimed at ports infrastructure development.
Maximizing terminal facilities utilization allows of reducing waiting time for vessels, which means reduced costs for vessel operators.
After the success of the experimental operation, DeloPorts intends to continue implementing the new practice at NUTEP.
