New Intermodal Service from APR to Europe via Russia

  • FESCO Transportation Group is launching a new regular intermodal service branded FESCO West Gate Bridge from Asia Pacific region to European ports via Russia’s Vladivostok in the East and Kaliningrad in the West.

Cargo will be shipped from APR on board FESCO’s regular container services to Commercial Port of Vladivostok and carried by rail to Kaliningrad to be loaded on board vessels bound for Europe at the terminal operated by Baltic Stevedore Company.

The service frequency is expected to make 2-4 times a month. The transit time of 36 days will be almost 1.5-times as short as that by the traditional deep sea route via the Suez.

A wide range of commodity is to be transported from consumer goods to equipment.
