TransContainer Posts 50% Net Profit Growth for January-September 2021

  • TransContainer has published its IFRS financial statement for January-September 2021.

    Earnings were up 36.7% year-on-year to 100.8 bn rubles ($1.4 bn). EBITDA up 55.8% to more than 26 bn rubles ($368 mn). Operating expenses increased by 25.3% year-on-year to make 80.4 bn rubles ($1.14 bn). Net profit amounted to 14.8 bn rubles ($209 mn), up 51.2% year-on-year.

    According toPavel Skachkov, VP, Economics and Finance, TransContainer, growth tempo in all the segments of the container market is declining in half 2, 2021, the only exception being transit.
