According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-September 2021 Russia exported 3.6 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, up 92.4% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export surged 2.5-fold year-on-year up to $7.5 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export declined by 14.4% year-on-year making 436.7 thousand tons worth $3.6 bn, up 26.5% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-September 2021 dropped by 47.5% year-on-year amounting to 45 thousand tons worth $788.1 mn, down 27.7% year-on-year.
In September, unwrought aluminum export made 266 mn tons, up 14.9% year-on-year and down 12.8% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export increased by 21.2% year-on-year and by 18% month-on-month to make $567.9 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was down 964% year-on-year and down 95.2% month-on-month to 2.3 thousand tons worth $15.1 mn, down 96.3% year-on-year and down 95.7% month-on-month.
In September 2021, Russia did no export unwrought nickel.
