Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group has announced a tender to develop a declaration of intent to develop a new container terminal in the port of Novorossiysk.
The contractor will have to conduct a feasibility study of federal, municipal and private investment into the construction of a specialized container terminal in Novorossiysk.
It is suggested that the new terminal would cover a territory of about 53.2 hectares and have an annual capacity of 1 mn TEU including 630,000 TEU of laden containers, 270,000 TEU of empties and 100,000 TEU of reefer containers.
The infrastructure will include 4 cargo berths capable of accommodating Post-Panamax Class vessels with a container capacity of 10,000 and more TEU.
