Primorsky Universal Transshipment Complex has signed an agreement with Russia’s Rosmorport federal agency responsible for federal property in sea ports on developing a port project in Primorsk in the Russian Baltic.
The would-be deep sea port is to have a capacity up to 65 mn tons by 2030 and will give a job to 6 thousand people. The first facilities are to become operable in 2025.
The project envisages building terminals to handle solid bulk and containerized cargo as well as road and railway infrastructure.
Primorsky Universal Transshipment Complex Ltd. has been recently permitted to start the construction.
