Freight One has organized experimental transportation of containers in gondola cars from the rail station of Mys Churkin in the Russian Far East to Moscow region.
The first five gondola cars were dispatched in September and delivered on time. The second shipment made in late September consisted of 30 gondola cars. The customer chose gondola cars taking into account the lower cost and the availability of rolling stock.
Freight One intends to continue offering gondola cars for container transportation to its customers in various segment as an experiment till the year-end to access the technology and improve it in cooperation with partners.
