According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-July 2021 Russia’s export of vodka made 1.1 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 0.4% year-on-year, physically, and $74.3 mn, down 1.8%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-July grew by 26.5% year-on-year to more than $1.7 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-July 2021 increased by 69.3% up to $54 mn.
In July, Russia exported 181.4 thousand decalitres of vodka, down 9.5% year-on-year and down 19.3% month-on-month, worth $12.2 mn, down 9.6% year-on-year and down 20.3% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in July was up 26.5% year-on-year and up 6.4% month-on-month to $271 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in July 2021 was up 3.4-fold year-on-year but down 0.9% month-on-month to $11.2 mn.
