According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-June 2021 Russia exported 6.7 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, up 5.1% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export grew by 38.9% up to $1.6 bn.
Potash fertilizers export during January-June 2021 surged 60.8% up to more than 6.3 mn tons. In terms of value, it increased 64.7% up to $1.3 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 5.5 mn tons, up 5.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export grew by 50.2% up to over $1.9 bn.
In June, nitric fertilizers export made 1.3 mn tons, up 14.9% year-on-year and up 48.5% month-on-month. In terms of value, it surged by 72.1% year-on-year and by 47.3% month-on-month to make $359.9 mn.
Potash fertilizers export increased by 31.5% year-on-year and declined by 4.2% month-on-month making 1.2 mn tons worth $261.5 mn (up 55.1% year-on-year and up 0.6% month-on-month).
Mixed fertilizers export in June grew by 1.2% year-on-year and by 18.6% month-on-month to make 972 thousand tons worth $397 mn, up 58.9% year-on-year and up 12.3% month-on-month.
