According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-May 2021 Russia’s export of vodka made 701.4 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, up 6% year-on-year, physically, and $46.9 mn, up 4.9%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-May grew by 25.8% year-on-year to $1.2 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-May 2021 increased by 33.9% up to $31.6 mn.
In May, Russia exported 187.3 thousand decalitres of vodka, up 30.2% year-on-year but down 3.8% month-on-month, worth $12.5 mn, up 37.4% year-on-year and up 1.6% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in May was up 65.6% year-on-year and down 3.3% month-on-month to $260.1 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in May 2021 was up 2.3-fold year-on-year and up 82.4% month-on-month to $9.3 mn.
