JV to Develop Grain Terminal Infrastructure in Novorossiysk Established

  • Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NZT) and Novorossiysk Kombinat Khleboproduktov (NKKhP) have established a joint venture to develop investment projects aimed at expanding grain handling terminal facilities in the port of Novorossiysk.

    The projects include lengthening Quay 3 in Novorossiysk and building two new deepwater berths capable of accommodating Panamax bulkers.

    As a result, the grain handling capacity will increased from the current 13.6 mn tons up to 25 mn tons by 2025. The storage capacity will grow from 370,000 tons up to 870,000 tons.
