Andrey Garnukhin, member of the Port Vyssotsky Board, shared the company’s plans to develop a grain terminal in the Baltic at a conference organized by BSForum in Novorossiysk.
The terminal to be built in the port of Vyssotsk will be the first grain handling facility in Leningrad Oblast. The project envisages creating two berths, siloes for 240,00 tons, rail tracks to handle 198 railcars a day, and installing two ship loading machines with a 1,200 ton per hour capacity each.
The annual capacity of the terminal will make 4 mn tons. The facility is expected to be put into operation in 2022.
