В Высоцке построят зерновой терминал

Grain Terminal Project for Vyssotsk

  • A grain terminal is to be built in the Baltic port of Vyssotsk in Leningrad Oblast. According to the regional government, the terminal is to be located on 41 ha in the Bolshaya Pikhtovaya Bay in Vyborg district.

    The estimated project cost is 13 bn rubles ($171 mn). The project envisages developing a 4 mn tons capacity terminal to be inaugurated in 2023 and a 200 thousand tons grain processing facility to be put into operation in 2024.

    The investor is Tekhnotrans, a rail operator specializing on transportation of grain and oilseeds.

    The project agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2019.
